Arabic Letter Recognition
Your teacher begins by introducing each of the 28 Arabic letters clearly and individually, their shapes, names, and correct articulation points. This is the most critical stage, and we never rush it.
Short Vowels & Basic Sounds (Harakat)
Once letters are recognised, students learn the three short vowel marks — Fatha, Kasra, and Damma — and how they change the sound of each letter. This is where reading begins to come alive.
Joining Letters & Word Formation
Students learn how Arabic letters connect and change shape within words. This stage builds reading fluency and teaches students to sound out simple Quranic words correctly.
Long Vowels, Tanween & Sukoon
Students progress to longer sounds, double vowel markings, and letters with no vowel, deepening their reading accuracy and preparing them for proper Tajweed application.
Reading Short Quranic Phrases
By the final stage, students are reading short Quranic sentences and familiar phrases with confidence, correct pronunciation, and a natural reading rhythm, ready to move on to full Nazra Quran.
